Hi! Would you like to tell us something about yourself? Who are you, what do you like, what defines you?
My name is Domenico, but in reality everyone knows me as Mimmo, and I am the BSC of the Salerno club.
Besides my family, my wife and a 13-year-old boy, I have one great passion: the sea; not a day goes by that I don't carve out some time to go out on my boat to fish or even simply to enjoy the sound, the scent and the colours of the sea. I may seem like a solitary person, but in reality laughing and having fun with friends and colleagues is one of life’s pleasures for me.
And at work? What would a colleague who knows you well say about you?
Here at the club my nickname is Miracle, not only because I am the one who fixes things and solves problems, but also because my colleagues consider me an older brother (maybe it’s down to those few grey hairs peeking through?).
I am a very curious person, and this certainly helps me at work because I find myself dealing with very different things, becoming passionate about each of them. I like finding solutions and making the club more comfortable for our members.
Dreams and plans for your future career?
I am in love with my job; receiving positive feedback from colleagues and members is the fuel that keeps me going and pushes me to improve all the time. In the future, I would like to be involved in the club’s operations and, why not, also take on a role different from my current one.
The best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job? The best thing about my job? What I like most is the look of relief and joy on my colleagues' faces when I manage to help them.
3 strengths and 3 weaknesses?
When you are no longer very young, you start to gain a real sense of self, so I can speak about my strengths and weaknesses without any problem: I am certainly a good, kind and helpful man. Weaknesses? None.
I hope that in these few lines I have managed to give an idea of who I am, then for everything else you need to see me in action (or, why not, at sea).
